The aim of SPORTCOM  is to reduce the drudgery and expense of searching for local "grass root" sports clubs.  

Sportcom feels that the bigger sports sites always manage to top the search engine rankings elbowing out the smaller local sites who are trying to inform the local community of their existence and success, with probably a view to increasing membership or support.
